ISC2 SSCP Certification FAQ

To qualify for the SSCP certification, you need at least one year of cumulative paid work experience in one or more of the seven domains of the SSCP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK). If you don’t have the required experience, you can still take the exam and become an Associate of (ISC)² until you accumulate the necessary experience. A four-year college degree or regional equivalent may be substituted for the one year of experience.

The SSCP certification is valid for three years. To maintain the certification, you must earn 60 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits over the three-year period and pay an Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) to (ISC)². This ensures your knowledge stays current with evolving security practices and technologies.

The SSCP exam consists of 125 multiple-choice questions that must be completed within 3 hours. The passing score is 700 out of 1000 points. The exam is computer-based and can be taken at authorized Pearson VUE testing centers worldwide. Our boot camp includes an on-site testing option for your convenience.
